Week one has passed and now we are in the mid of week two. I have learnt so many things, web searching, technology tips and ABCD style of writing. I am so interested in the technology tools incorporated to conduct this course, especially ICA (International Classroom Assistance) which I think will be very useful to apply in the class I teach. Using ICA, I can create an on line classroom with the students. Lecture notes can be posted before the actual class, as well as assignments. Students who are slow in picking up the lessons can review it anytime they want. It's wonderful.
However, I still haven't had a comprehensive view how to set up the class with ICA so far. I plan to ask my instructors, Russel and Robert later on. Right now I am so occupied with the assignments out of which I have completed two, and am still working on the other three. wow! five assignments a week.
In spite of the tight schedules for assignments, this on-line course is quite wonderful. The course mates are friendly, active and knowledgeable. The materials of the course are resourceful and up to date. Not to mention the instructors are supportive, inspiring and very qualified. However, I strongly believe that all participants really take pains in keeping up with the schedules, practicing the try and error method which is very time consuming and sometimes exhausting.
Hi mate,
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful going through your post and was happy to know that you have learned many things within two weeks time.
Hope to hear more good news from you every week.

I agree with Pema, you grasped the whole week and put it in a nutshell. A very impressive reflective sentence is the last sentence which highlights an idea most teachers forget that not everything works the same way everywhere. So as teachers, we should put in mind the idea of trial and error, applying more than one way and trial and error. Best of luck, keep the good work.
